Fought it for about 5 minutes, as I was using a low test line, enough time for my brother to reach into my pocked and learn how to record video using my cell phone, sorry for the crappy video, from now on we carry a better camera! I had never seen this fish here in south FL , only in Brazil, so I was unaware of its existance here in South FL (Broward County). Hooked it using a 12lbs Braided like (lucky!) and a small size Shinner, which is weird since this fish prefers fruits and nuts (if you ever land one, look at its mouth/teeth, def. not a dedicated carnivour. Good eating fish, search for Limpando Pacu (portuguese) to learn how to clean the fish.
